    does anyone know if they are still in business? i was going to purchase one of there kits for my sbc 400 and just buy a bigger turbo.

    yup. I bought a wastegate off of ebay and it came in a box covered in ssautochrome labels.

    yes they are. you have to go diretly to their site www.ssautochrome.com or xs power.com. people are buying the stuff and selling it on ebay.

    Their 5.0 kit is great, as long as you have a bandsaw, are good at re-welding garbage stainless steel, and like your hardware (V-bands, clamps, nuts, bolts) made of the flimsiest trash / grade 2 bullshit. I wouldn't put any of that garbage on my car if you gave it to me.

    I am using a set of their 1 5/8 headers for my build. They seem to be pretty nice. The guy I bought them off of reworked the pipes where they meet the 1/2 inch flange and also replaced the T4 flanges with 3" vbands. They look like they are stronger pieces than my old hedman headers I had. Time will tell if they stay together.
