Modular guys running Turbonetics T76

    What's the specs of your turbo? More specifiably turbine wheel and exhaust housing. What in the hell is the s-trim turbine wheel? Agpturbos has the turbine wheels listed as F1 62, F1 65, F1 68 for the T series turbos. Comments welcome.

    The Hellion single turbo kit for the 03-04 Cobras uses a Turbonetics T76....check out Hellions site maybe they list the specs for that turbo on their site.....

    My T-76 is a Q-Trim wheel, Ceramic Ball-Bearing, .96 A/R. I may go to a .81 housing, but I want to see how my 4 valve 5.4 pushes it before I switch. The 2 Valve 5.4 guys think the .96 may be a bit big for a street setup Lightning.

    Mine is a T76 Q trim .96AR housing. Have not gotten the car running yet looking for the last sensors. I am also thinking the exhaust housing size might be too big. My motor is a .020" 4.6

    I think what your seeing is the NEWer wheel. I dont remember the F1 wheel when I was buying my Turbo a couple years back.

    The F1 wheel is new to the turbonetics lineup. Came out just recently, maybe over the past few months...? The F1 trim is supposedly the wheel off of the new GTK lineup and there aren't any compressor maps for that lineup yet.

    I have a Hellion kit as well. Mine came with the Turbonetics 76mm S-trim turbo with a .96 exhaust housing.

    It was a little laggy on my stock motor but it blew and now I have a new motor going together. Block bored over .030" (287ci), 15cc pistons for about a 9.0:1 compression and Ford GT cams, will see how that affects spool and change to a .81 housing if need be.
