Whos running big horsepower and big boost with the new boss 302??????

    whoever is running the new boss 302 with big boost and big numbers please chime in!

    I made 895rwhp with the boost over 30psi more than once. Using the Old School Boss Block. :2thumbs: When i can afford it ill probably be using the new Boss block.

    well i have built a new boss block.... 331 stroker/t78gts/C4/8.7 sc.......10 psi 640hp

    i built the motor to handle 20-25psi....ill post up again when i turn the wick up

    not really afraid that it wont hold up, just looking to see what the real world results are. Ford claims and mmff as well that this is stronger and better then the r302...so im wondering.

    See I've seen them in person, and they are stout as shit. But for some reason they shortened the piston skirts. My machinist says he won't assemble a 347 in that block, they are so short. Wrist pin is almost out of the skirt.

    I can't see that anyone has really found the limit of the R302 yet. I know plenty of people making 1500-1800hp with it. I don't think you're gonna find anyone testing the limits of the new Boss either.

    I just got my boss block, and plan on running a 331 t76 combo to around 7-800 rwhp. I will post up how it goes by spring. The block itself looks very healthy, Everything is nice and thick.

    off the subject here but what do you's think the old 69-70 boss blocks are good to. safe HP speaking?

    we have had a few run 5.30's in the 1/8. mines ran 5.60's and made 895rwhp.
