Here is a datalog from my truck from last weekend. The truck is running awesome and feels strong, but not as strong as I thought it would. It looks like my timing at WOT is at 13 degrees, but I have absolutely no idea what would be safe on this engine- it is a stock GT40p longblock with Autolite 103 plugs running 7-9lbs of boost. Would it be safe to add 2 degrees globally? I swear I have read about a hundred threads about 5.0 timing, but I dont know how to relate what they are talking about because I dont have a distributor. I read spout in this, and spout out that, but I dont know what it means.

On this datalog, you do see the timing taper off at the top, but I think it be because I let off slightly(look at the TPS voltage). Any help would be great.

Whne you download the file, you will probably want to right click and "save target as" so you can open it in Livelink.

First off you are targeting 12.5 at WOT and you are running 11.7 -you need to change your targeted fuel to 11.5~12.0. You are running *18 timing according to your logs, which is OK - you can maybe get it to 19-20* on 93 octane if it does not ping. Maybe more because your load isn't as high as it should be plus it goes to >100 and then drops which is odd. This assumes it's a 5.0L... Do NOT use global adders.

Not sure if you already have our Pro Racer training video - but if you want more info go here - http://www.lasotaracing.com
