The o2 fixed the idle issue, but I have serious tuning issues with this car. It won't startup in closed loop with the chip, but when it warms up and goes to open loop it won't run without the chip installed.

I fixed the stuff listed above, but the clutch cable broke some how. I'm waiting on another one to com by the end of the week. I was able to rewire my wideband last weekend and the car show's 11.5:1 a/f at idle. So tuning should be fun. lol

Getting there, man! I would love to check out your car. Let's see how much more power you make compared to CDog over on RSW. You should be over him by at least a 100hp.

On a race gas tune I don't think Cdog's D1 will hold a candle to the turbo. I plan to make 400-500 on pump gas, so I'll be equal to what he's making right now. I do know that my car is about 500 ibs lighter then his, so it should be quicker at the same hp numbers.

400-500 on the street tune? Are you just being ultra conservative? I would think you would be making high 500's on the street tune easily. Even up here at this elevation. My stroked and blown 01 Cobra made high 500s uncorrected here.

I am going conservative. I need this motor to stay together for the next 4 years while I finish school.

    Nice setup!

If you are anything like me though the conservative will get thrown ou the window in no time.lol

That is why I want to find the boost the car needs and then set the wastegate to the psi. I then can take off the boost controller to help with temptation. Before I would add a pound of boost every month or so.

I got to drive the car today!!! It pulls hard with 9* of timing. I hope to have it on the dyno in the next month for a solid break in and tune.

It made 16 psi on the highway today with little to no lag like before.

VT built another great motor and better yet there cams made a BIG diffenence in the way the turbo reacts.

Sounds like custom turbo grind cams are the ticket to help spool a bigger turbo with minimal lag. I ordered a set of MMR turbo grinds for my buildup and hope they do the same trick for me. I am sure it is definately a beast!

Yes, using the right cams is must for proper turbo response and boost. I was loosing alot of boost with the blower cams also.

I'm no rocket scientist, but 16psi with the 76 is well more then 400-500hp...

Great to hear the car running.

At 5000 ft. I'd guess I'm in the low 400's when I turn the timing up to 13-15*. At 9* I might be right at 400 if not alittle lower. M car has been broke over a year so the seat of the pants meter is off.lol

Man, you are being ultra consertative. Pretty smart, he he. Your setup is probably making 525-550 on low timing. BTW, how is the traction? Is it unbearable in 1st gear?
