What is the total timing you guys run on pump gas? Right now, I'm locked in at 19 degrees total and 11psi. It runs pretty good just like that. Do you think i can raise the timing without detonating?

i have the base hellion intercooler, i saw my intake air temps hit 121 on the datalog, and yes its an air to air, the t-76t is a turbonetics S trim with a .96 ar i was running c-16 116 octane vp, with some pump gas mixed in, not to much though. I had the boost at 16lbs and the motor has 8.0:1 cr with out of box twisted wedge heads and a F-303 cam, spyder intake i have a build on the builds board where you can see most of what the car has, it also made 550 and 607 on pump gas

yea i have the F cam still, you should have no problem hitting 700 I hope you plan on changing your fuel system and DONT use those flowmasters on a single 3in dumped flowmaster i gained 60 horse and 75 pounds of tq on a pump gas tune by cutting it off and going open down pipe

ive got a full aeromotive fuel system i pieced together sitting waiting on HP to deliver their goods to me, also a new stock tank sumped ready to go, slicks just came in yesterday and new prostars come in today along with a line lock and hopefully a boost controller inthe next week or to :2thumbs:

as for the flowmasters, right now im running crappy summit turbo mufflers thinking it would quiet the sound a lil bit but it doesnt,, dumps on a vert are crazy loud inside the cabin,, is your car a street car or just a drag queen???? im planning on about 60/40 street track with this car, so i guess my real question is is how loud is the car with normal use on the street with an open downpipe????? can you post up some vids of it for me?? did you just hack off the exhaust at the flow tube or just open downpipe below the starter?? thanks in advance

my pipe runs as far as the the passenger seat right now, and its an 75/25 street track its a lil loud i guess but i dont think its to loud, its all opinion, some of my friends say its loud. I just bought a magnaflow muffler though and that should quiet it down a bit and not cause much back pressure at all

My 84 on stock shortblock/cam with canfield heads and trickflow intake did 450/480 on 9lbs with the base 62. Some more left in the tune. This was running through a magnaflow catback and a 3550.

Just about to get back into the project and finish up my dart block setup. Still trying to decide weather to go 347 or 331.

Doesn't the Turbonetics 62mm max out at like 600 flywheel HP? If it does, how on earth did you put down 558 to the wheels thru an auto thru a Mustang Dyno?

That would mean you maxed the turbo out and only lost a total of 42hp thru your auto trans and drivetrain by the time the power got to the wheels on a mustang dyno lol.

the numbers that the car put down are real (it happened in front of several people at a dyno event at speedy's)

you through enough money at it you can do the same (plus there are other guys on this subject putting down moire then me) ask them how they did it

Your on the right track. Just keep tweaking it.
    I made 840 h.p. on a Dynojet @25 psi 116 mixed. here's the combo-
331 AFR 185, tfs cam, Turbopeople intake, ProTurbo street kit with a GTS 76 turbo, Accel gen7, Aod transmission. Street car stock susupension type.
Went 9.30's @149 mph during license run. @ 23 psi boost.
Haven't had time to go agiain. Since then i upgraded.

I love my Hellion kit! It's the single most powerful addition I have ever made to a car. I got a 62-1 w/ complete hardware. The biggest reason I bought the 62-1 instead of a bigger kit? Cause it was sitting on the floor

of my suppliers warehouse. ( versus upwards of a 8 - 10 week wait for the turbo kit of my choice. That was more than 1/2 my summer, couldn't do that. ) I have a thread in the tech sect., some may remember, I was/am having

hardcore tuning issues. I think I may have finally beat the issue via another forum member who might just have the equipment I need. Finally. Anyhow, I see in earlier replies about how much power people are gonna get, and anyone can throw a number out there.

Over the years I learned one definite thing about the fox: You cannot line 2 foxes up side by side, and expect a similar number. Some of these cars go .. .. .. and some don't. Some are quick, others are fast, and a rare few are just downright possessed or demonic.

Everybody wants the latter. I've watched a GT with; gears, exhaust, underdrive & cold air beat up on a coupe with H/C/I & catback. On paper that never happens. Anyhow, back to business.

I figured i would have to buy odds n ends, but was surprised when things started rolling, I didn't have to buy a single thing. Not even a nut or bolt. The kit came with everything I needed including new exhaust hardware to change over from a dual to a single.

It came with new 42lb injectors, a new Maf tube, a 255 lph pump ( I already had the fuel pump ), blow off valve & Evolution wastegate.

    I already had a H/C/I combo on my car;
AFR 185's, a Holley Systemax, and I retained my old cam, a Ford Racing Z cam. There is a tune in the car, but it's all messed up. It's really rich. At part throttle I get 10, 10.2, 11, 11.2 on my wideband. At idle 19 -21, and at w.o.t. I get numbers

like 9 and 10's. I'm working the remedy now ( via stand alone ). The dyno I used is a Dynojet, and she put down 500 to the wheels, and 517 torque @ 9psi boost. When the new block goes in, she'll be tailored around 15 - 17 psi of boost. My target HP is fairly flexible,

I want maximum horsepower on 93 pump gas. 640 is what I would to see, and I think with the number I have now, it should be easy.

My car put down 321 hp to the wheels N/A, and I shouldn't have any problems getting 15 psi boost ( rounding off 14.7 ) out of 93 pump gas. So technically I should lay down 642 HP to the wheels, with the only change being the block.

( Of course I'll be changing a few other things while it's apart. I have a Bryant Billet crank already, setting the cubes at 341. Rods and pistons still have to be bought ).

I'll give you another example, when I was at the track, and one run I made, the car fell on her face at 4100 rpm's in second. I hit the 1/8th doing 25 mph and crossed the line @ 116 mph. Huge pick up for a gear and a half.

Anyhow, sorry bout the long rant n all, but as far as I'm concerned, Hellion makes an amazing kit, and I fully expect single digit runs when the block is in .. .. .. on pump gas.

I've got most of what of I need already, including Eibach drag lauch kit w/ airbag, coilovers up front, deleted the air, Flaming River quick ratio manual rack, and UPR's Extreme K-Member kit ( Wow! what a weight drop! )

I have most every bolt-on including cold air, ATI Pro Damper, Electric water pump, full MSD ignition w/ billet dist. Digital 6 w/ 2 step ( what an awesome invention, especially for launching turbo stick cars hard ! ).

So, I don't think I'm being unrealistic with numbers. I'll let you know how the new tuning goes.
