Hey guys, I am just getting ready to start doing the time consuming task of cleaning up the engine bay in my fox bod. I have the car completely stripped and soda blasted. Soon I will start the process of filling in all the little holes in the engine bay, as well as taking the edge off of the front of the frame rails, and cutting off the front sway bar mounting brackets and smoothing it all out to make it look nice and clean under the hood. I know this is going to be a ton of work, but i know it will be worth it in the end.

Anyways, Ive seen some pics here of some amazing engine bays, and i was just extremely impressed with how much work some of you guys have put in to yours. So if you have a nice cleaned up bay, post up some pics, and maybe a description of everything you did to get it to where it is now!

Im looking forward to seeing some awesome engine bays!!! :2thumbs: :chacha:

I pulled all the harnesses, power distibution box, and stuff out. Still have to fill some holes the next time the engine is out.

I'll have to check at home and see if I took any pictures before I put all the crap on my engine.

I'm not all that happy with my hole filling that I did on mine and might go with the fiberglass route this winter as I'm pulling the engine out. I'm interested to hear some results of people using glass instead of welding in all the holes. I would think the glass would look a lot nicer as it makes it all flat, but I'm not sure if the work involved is worth it or not.

I remember in another thread that TT 05 Stang said he pulled his main harness into the cabin. Looked pretty nice in the picture he posted up. I might go that route with the rest of my harness, but currently all of my drivers side wires are hidden in the fender area. The headlight harness is a breeze as it all can just be unloomed and pulled in front of the radiator support. My passenger side harness is pretty much non existant as I removed most smog equipment because I'm running a standalone, so I really only have a couple of wires on that side which will just get placed somewhere out of the way.
