I fired her up tonight, didn't have time to put it on the dyno today, but will first thing in the morning. :)

    Here's a couple pix.

That empty SC case is badass. Is that endplate custom made, or can you buy those?

And are you going to leave the BOV open like that and not recirculate it? It will suck if it goes rich and dies every time you get let off the go pedal.

It's a custom made piece, but we can have more made as we need them.

Yeah, I'm venting to atmosphere, I normally don't recommend it, but since this is my personal truck, and I'm tuning it in Open Loop all the time (I've removed all the o2 sensors, and the cams are pretty lumpy) it's no biggie though, I can tune around it fairly easily.

I have that same BOV, and I ran it muffled until yesterday- I had forgotten how loud that thing is. I about wet myself when it went off the first time. I guess it diesnt help that mine isnt under the hood :)

I bring this up because that BOV doesnt flow very much. Its just that most turbo Lightning guys are looking to make more power than the Eaton can handle, and that BOV doesnt flow enough to properly vent that much airflow. Wouldn't a Turbonetics Godzilla be a better choice?

Mine doesn't really seem to be that loud (at least not in the cabin).

So far it has worked quite well, I don't plan on running a ton of boost, but I did have a boost controller incident and ran it at 28#'s of boost up to ~4200 RPM yesterday (glad I have a built engine  ) , when I let off the throttle it vented everything and kept running, so I think she'll work :)

Sweet, I hope it works out for you. It is just that alot of people take one spring out of them, then they have to crank the adjustment screw down, and this limits travel of the diaphram, limiting airflow further. I am extremely happy with mine.

Where in Mississippi are you? I am in Oxford.

lol ..... heck I'm still trying to find out where to plug in my laptop to this dang carburetor on my race car. I miss getting to play around tuning things every day. I'll have to give you a ring the next time I'm down in that part of the country and come check out your projects.

    Later,
    Chris

Heh, I haven't even really adjusted it yet, I put it at about 1/2 way and started from there.

I'm not that far from you, I'm in Tupelo.

No, It runs good with 13psi and 60# injectors. I can't keep the TH400 in it though, keep rolling the intermediate sprag.

I want to make more power though! :D

You need to get some SCT stuff, then maybe I can finally get my junk tuned. There has been a 3.63psi spring in my WG since I built this thing.

Do you already have SCT hardware? If not I could do it with DiabloSport stuff :) But before I go advertising stuff like that I need to check into being an authorized vendor or whatever.

    Chris,
I was about to make the same offer. :D
Maybe he can struggle through the tuning process.

    Chris J.
That's just pretty awesome. Get Wade to make you a A/W IC that will bolt into place underneath the TB and you can really crank up the boost. Add a little touch of methanol and you'll have all of the ingredients to destroy that 4R100 on pump gas.
