Best 1/4 mile E.T.'s with single 76mm

    What has been your best 1/4 mile et and mph with a single 76mm? My car went 9.40 @ 149.94 with a loose converter, I think it will go faster. It's a small block ford 327, "Hp" turbo street kit and a glide. It is a fun car to drive on the street :)

    Cal Hartline has gone 8.83 @ 157MPH on Drag Radials/Stock Suspension with around a 3400lbs GN.
    272ci V6 motor with small stage 1 type heads. GT42R Turbo.

    9.12 at 152 at 3250lbs with a single ITS R trim GT76.

    The elevation here in Albq. is 5400 ft. I can't wait to take it to a lower elevation with a better prepped track. The cars usually gain five mph and drop 4-5 tenths of a second. Hopefully I will be taking the car to Arizona next weekend to see how it runs down there.

    A gn that I worked on ran 8.63 with a 76 at 3250 lbs, wiht 28X10.5 tires, powersteering, manual waterpump,A/C, and the works... a real street car.

    Do those cars have air to air or air to water intercoolers?

    I had an igloo air to water(which is far from an efficient charge cooler) and ran the GT76 at 20psi.

    My car went 9.37 @ 147 on Drag Radials. 336, 76 GTS, Air to Air intercooler. 3600# Full weight SN95.

    Cobra331 or whatever his name was ran 156 mph with a T76GTS with a AWL intercooler on drag radials, i forget the ET but it was the one and only turbomustangshoottoneverhappenagain.com

    I was there and saw him make those passes. White 95 Cobra. It was running low 9's, don't remember exactly. I think he later ran high 8's, but that might have been after he put the GT47 on it.

    well im going with a single set up but not done yet maybe everyone can give me tips and let me know what she should do......got a 302 set up the pass side mount and a FAST system bank to bank and has a tremec in it now NEW tko FOR SALE everything im going to put a c4 with brake......not sure on injectors and also how much my motor block will hold i want to make stong power but have it last with the money i spent i dont want to push it to the max on a dyno etc and pop it. what you when i can make reasonable and run with a c4? help with my set up.......car is all stock looking no cage yet but not gutted at all so stock weight right now thanks

    How did that glide do on that hevy ass SN95 car.... Were you able to drive it much on the street?... I am thinking of putting a c4 behind mine (SN95 convertible 331 76gts turbo PMS TKO600) before I break my tko and was wondering if a glide might just be a better route....

    Must work pretty good with a Glide, he is now the NMRA World Champion... 8.101@175, 3400lbs on 325 BFG Drag Radials.
