    Im building a 331ci 3.25"stroke 5.400"rods nothing fancy there.
I wish to make all the power my combo will allow, GT47 88mm .96ar turbo, if you need more details, i can post them.

I guess 1200fhp should be doable with relative ease.

I have Eagle H-beam rods with their ARP2000 bolt upgrade, do you think they are too much on the borderline?

I was thinking about Oliver I beam rods with their best bolts. These rods are for a GM application and must be "narrowed" to fit on a sbf crank.

Am i thinking too much overkill? This engine will see 7500rpm and as much boost the Gt47 will be able to do.

Pistons weighs 500g and wrist pins 162g if it matters.

    Thanx!

At 1200hp with those bolts they should be fine. We have run Eagle rods to around 1500 hp with no problems (went to about 1800 hp once but the rods left unhappy :)).

I have had even better luck with the L-19 upgrade over the ARP2000 bolts
