Hey guys, I found a 88 Turbo coupe yesterday but it's an automatic. >:(
Am I going to need the whole engine wiring harness or will the 4 cyl. harness
that's in my 90 coupe do the job?
Also, I found a tourbo and manifold off of a 86 Turbo coupe. Will this make more HP
    on the 87 eninge?

www.stinger-performance.com That'll tell you how to use your 90 harness.
THe turbo will make more power, but it has to be modified to fit with the 88's IC. Unless you're an automatic now, the 88 being an automatic won't make a difference.

I plan to scrap the Factory IC and use one that mounts in front of my
radiator. Do you guys recomend one that fits in there easy?

you might get lucky and find an 84-86 Ford Motorsport FMIC like I found with a factory T3 setup on ebay for around $250 shipped. That's the pic I posted above. same size core as the factory top mount but it is relocated.

Is there some kind of calculation, or a way to figure out what BOV to use?

No. You go with what you like and what won't make your car run poorly(because of misadjustment or lack of due to incorrect spring pressure).

I went with the 1g dsm unit because of it's reliability record, and it can be modified to hold 20+ psi. Also cost me $5 at the JY!
