ive got a 2000 mustang, and just trying to figure out what all im going to need to do to make it a reliable turbo car. im either going to get a kit from turbo horsepower or customly installed by a guy in tuscon. but that really isnt relevant, but when am i going to need to change the fuel lines and fuel rails. im shooting for 550 hp for my street tune

Those stock lines are pretty damn small. I'd replace the lines just to be on the safe side, its cheaper now than to grenade a motor!

motor better not grenade lol. im getting it built also, im doing all the necessary precautions all at once. im buying the transmission, building the motor, trying to figure out the fuel system or not, the turbo system, and suspension all at once, so the motor better not grenade. but my plans for this car is for my street tune 550 hp, and 650 for race tune, so does that info change you answers at all

i think when you start getting over 600hp (engine) you really should think about upgrading. Cheap insurance compared to melting pistons

Why worry about it? Replace everything and have the peace of mind that a built fuel system won't be starving your engine.

well thanks for advice, i decided im going to get the fuel system from modular mustang racing, their kit is good to 900 hp, and appearently they have put alot of engineering into their sumped fuel tank, so i decided to rebuild all of it. so thanks
