Andrew, I was told you can get an AOD brake pedal off E-bay for like $10-15. I got one off NMRA for $20 shipped. Now is the time to change that thing if you are ever going to while everything is out. Gives you a little more leverage to hold back that 14 or so PSI on the line. ;)

When do you expect this thing to be track ready?

Sweet man. It looks great. If you get a chance, shoot a picture of how you did the brake lines. I am getting ready to order the same dual kit for my car.

That's a great idea! I'll have to check that out.

Injected65: I haven't done that yet. I plan on ordering two small braided steel hoses, a -3 flare tee and use my existing braided steel hose to make it work.

85Iroc: I got them from Mark Williams. Not exactly cheap. :(

Here is yesterdays' progress - we mounted the fuel and water cells and got one wheeltub cut and fitted.

I suppose posing questions just makes this thread more informative for others to read.

Jamesb - Are you using a Jd-Sqaured based bender for your chassis work? I didn't see that monster floating around, anchored to your garage floor anywhere. Do you run a mill-type notcher or a drill press conversion type?

Those look like bigger tubs than before, did you step them up from the 38" ones or is it just my eyes?

I wrapped the cooler with aluminum bubblewrap insulation from home depot. I'm going to redo it and put styrofoam between the cooler and insulation.

Yes, I had to buy 40" tubs to get the required clearance with the 33" tires.

yes its the jd^2. I made a mobil stand for it since I am in a confined space. Once my shop is built it will get anchored to the floor. I am currrently using a drill press with notcher. Later I will be upgrading this piece.

Looks great dude. It's amazing what happens in 365 days. Your next move after you are about 95% done is to put it on EBay. j/k :2thumbs:
