SO I DID SOME ORE TUNING ON IT BUT IT STILL NEEDS SOME MORE. I GOT MY FRIST TO KILLS LAST NIGHT. A HARLEY V ROD FROM A 35 MPH ROLL AND SOME BMW GETTING ON THE FREEWAY.

Interesting setup, looks like I am picking up a 1979 or so Malibu and I am aiming on doing a turbo setup in it. One of the main problems of course is single or twin turbo and the headers or manifolds to the turbos. What headers are you using there or are they home fabricated?

 

The headers i am using are hedman hedders Shortie S-10 V8 conversion headers p/n HED-69520. I flipped them upside down and welded some 90* elbows on them

 

I didsome more tuning today.

To day i pulled the cam gear off and advanced the cam by about 6 degress. It made a big difference but i still need some more .

 

Tim, What fuel pump are you using? How much pressure will it put out? I have a situation where a mechanical pump would be great but I didn't think they put out enough pressure to cover static fuel pressure+ boost. Your home brew work is great!

 

Looks good, the hard parts done, time for the fun.

 

I am using a Holley Fuel pump that is rated at i think 80 gph ( or maybe it is 60 i dont remember) I modified it to be boost referenced. It works great but it starts to run out of fuel.
