    Here is the origional thread..

-- Origional thread, car was NA --

Finally got all the parts togeather.. Got a decent cooler..
one question we still have is where to route the charge pipe? also.. the center section wont clock on the exaust side. should the charge pipe go over the strut tower? or down and around 180*?? there isn't a whole lot of room for the cooler.. its going to be at a pretty steep angle. Will it be fine to dump the wastegate 6 inches from the turbo into the exaust?

As for the clocking, it's just a little rusty. It will clock, just have to work it a bit.

Get a bigass torch and heat on the turbine housing and tap it with a hammer. The heat will thermally expand it and help loosen it from the smaller inner center section. Hammering creates some nice destructive ringing to break up the rust bonds.

he was out smoking the tires on the freeway and stuff with it... he called me so i grabbed a video cam and came over.. he let the car sit for an hour.. and when it started back up there was no oil pressure.. it wouldnt rev above 4... and the turbo wouldnt spool at all... changed the oil (1 hr of use) and it had tons of metal filings in it.

videos would have been the shit... i was really bummed out
