i looked at the pictures from "The Dodge Garage" website with pictures of intercoolers. The one for the '88 volvo had "the infamous Volvo intercooler! (1988 Volvo 740T, 28.75" x 17")" next to the picture, would this mean it wouldnt work for a twin .60/.63 stock 5.0? from the three threads i found relating to volvo intercoolers they would be a waste of time. I already have two TurboCoupe intercoolers but was wondering if I could use the intercooler in question for the setup i'm going for.

by the way reason i ask is because i was at the junkyard today and saw one of these there, it still has the tubo in it but it looks a bit too small for my aplication.

probably a waste of time. could it work? ya

you gotta join the charge pipes coming off the turbines, into one... then go into the cooler

Some of the 2.3 guys use these but have a problem with them busting the plastic tanks @ 15+ pounds.

man, I have one of those laying in the garage somwhere. Looks too large to use, unless you chopped it up and re welded it ( you wouldnt want the plastic end tanks anyhow)

don't bother with them, flow is bad, not internally finned, all the volvo guys upgrade to npr to get rid of them, better than nothing, but not so good.

I love sleepers, you car is quite the sleeper, i think it needs a 100 shot!

As for the intercooler, I used one on my SVO and while it worked good, I did crack the end tanks with nearly 20! psi of boost.
