There are a few of us here looking to push this thing as far as it will go. I believe Silverbulletman so far is the fastest going nearly 9 flat. Actmobmar isn't to far behind at mid nines and myself at 10.1 134mph on 13lbs on "OLD" combination.
My new combination is a dart ie sportsman man 408 courtesy of Nate with a new lil john custom hydraulic roller, updated ucc convertor, and beefed up my aod with 7 forward - 6 direct and a 4 clutch reverse pack for extra holding power on the brake. Also hardened 4r70w output shaft and hardened 4r75w planetary set. And of course going with a FI billet s484 turbo.
    Who will be the first?????

Have you done any testing with this combo yet?

Nope not yet, redoing my hotside now and waiting on my convertor to come back from ucc. Having a mechanical diode installed and having it tightened up.

Silverbulletman has been bottom 9's and his wasn't maxed out. 80lbers should support 900rwhp and get me there. Also bumping the base fuel pressure up from 58psi could also help some as well. We'll see..

If you want to use E85 to make big power cheap... you are kinda hosed with the baby injectors was my point.

Gothch ya, 80lbers would definitely be an Achilles heal on e85

I definitely have full intentions of getting after it this year. The 9.0 was still relatively easy. It actually went a 9.16 at 17 pounds boost but I pulled timing and two step out of the bottom end for the 9.0 @ 153 ( I fucked up ). I'm thing and 8.50 isnt out of the question as I think my 9.0 could have easily been an 8.80 If i woulda kicked its ass outta the hole.

Thats pretty slick! You could retain a carb even and drive around on pump gas with it, then have the fuel injection kick on with 8 210lb injectors and straight methanol! :chuncky:

Yeah, and it's not super expensive. I was interested in it so I didn't have to change intakes or weld bungs in, plus I think you have better charge cooling when the fuel is introduced at that point vs the port. That spacer, plus a 4150 throttle body, ms3 pro, and injectors of your choice = no limits

It WILL be a fun year, I'll need to get my comp license this year. Set on full kill. I fully intend on seeing how much hp the fitech can support. Kind of wander what 25psi will make with my NEW combo? I think more than enough to run 8.50'.

I plan on going 8s this year with the fitech and sbf. So far I really like the system. Put over 500 miles on it.

I'll just be happy if I can run a 10.99 this year with my stock block 302 and little master power 76mm lol. I ran the FiTech all last summer though with no turbo and i'm definitely glad i bought it.

You guys do know that you can install up to 300 lb/hr injectors in the FiTech, right?
The sloppy 210's seem to be the ones to go with. Same impedance as the stockers and the same 14mm oring and "38ish"mm length. Just need to change the plug out on the harness or add some adapters. Other than that the latest software update from FiTech as all of the injector parameters in the pro-tuning section.
