Finally got to go out and beat on the girl tonight. WOW!!! She really moves out at only 14lbs. I learned a couple valuable things tonight. 1. Don't try to make a pull starting in first gear. It'll just go straight to the rev limiter set at 8k oops. :) 2. Knocking the tires loose at 80-90 mph and going sideways taking up two lanes of the road it scary as hell. Lol

This pic was the end of the first gear pull.

Stay safe. I just had that happen to me. Had no idea a few more pounds of boost would spin the tires that bad over 60 mph.

Lmao. I'm out. After yesterday I know she'll make a decent number. I don't want to set myself up for disappointment. I'm hoping for a solid hp number, but shooting for a big mph at the track.

How much boost to you think you'll make on the dyno?

I was thinking 24-26 unless I run out of fuel pump before. I didn't have a set number in mind but was figuring I would see how she runs and go from there. I have friends with TVS's running 24lbs plus nitrous with similar setups. I would assume with my unported heads 26-28 wouldn't be to crazy right?

That turbo should do 26-28 on your set up. Be careful, at the boost level it might make your ass leak. Lol.

Hey Dave. That's crazy. I'd be the dumbass parked on the side of the road with the flashers going. Lol

To answer your question, probably NEVER!
Doing some maintenance to get ready for the dyno, I cut the filter open and found some garbage. Was hoping it was from the oil lines from the last motor. I dropped the pan low enough to get my phone in there to snap some pics. Guess I'll be pulling it out this week.

Wow, sorry to see that bud, just about all of us has gone thru that at least once in our life time. Doesn't look like anything major though, you'll get it up and running in no time, good luck man, let us know what you find. Well at least UPS didn't misplace your turbo like they did my twin 76's, how you like them apples?

Thanks man. I was not expecting find find anything wrong. I think I may just go ahead and drop the pan a pull a few caps off. Hopefully it's a thrust bearing or something. If anything maybe I'll have a idea of what's wrong so maybe I can sleep this week. Nothing like rolling over in the middle of the to fix your pillow to instantly start thinking what the he'll happened. Lol

That's sucks about your turbos. Nobody gives a shit anymore. Ups and FedEx that came to our shop use to be really cool and try to take care of you. Nowadays all they say is refuse it and don't sign for it. Yup that will fix the problem. Oh wait... You can't even sign for the damn things. My bad.

Uh oh. That's not good. I've only heard nothing but good things so far. I'm sure they'll get it fixed one way or another. Were you out there running yesterday?

Are you running a pressure regulator on your th400?
