I took the heap (Lemans) out tonight. It's getting nearer that time we all desire, when the ice goes away and we can get back to driving projects again. What are your goals for the year? Mine are pretty simple with the Lemans. Not break stuff, and be able to drive it up to the Car Craft Nationals in Milwaukee in July. It's more stock than I want to admit to, but I'm totally fine with that. Just looking to DRIVE this year.

    Goals for the year:
    Finish my car
    Drive it
    Break it
    Fix it
    Repeat process.

Honestly I just want to drive it far, fast, and often, but I have a tendency to push it until I break stuff, so I'm trying to be realistic.

Here in Michigan warm weather means changing from snow to mud. Won't be able to drive mine until the driveway dries out. In the mean time I've got to change valvesprings, hook up my driveshaft to my new rear-end and buy some new drag radials. Other than that I should be good to go.

I'd love to get my heap at least started and moving under its own power with the new setup.. but funds are lacking currently so we'll see how it goes..

I've shoveled so much damn snow, ran to events with family a ton the last couple months and basically spent no time on the car. I did get out to it this past weekend to swap some parts and get it fired back up. Not fully updated but ready to drive it the first opportunity I get. Still plenty of snow on the ground but this week has helped a lot.

Looking to hit Norwalk, Thompson, Quaker, BeaverSprings, Milan and the completely revamped Draway42 this year

When you come to Beaver Springs you let me know! I'm like 20 minutes from that track and would love to see your car make some passes!

That just gives you more time to fix it before winter :)

Shit fixed it DURING this winter. Poncho munched the #3 exh on the cam, pulled the valley cover and found a pound of oil sludge crap! I was out in an unheated garage swapping the cam. Amazing what sanity is for some I guess.

I'm in the same place as most of you. Took one warm afternoon to get my junk back on its wheels, but now it's cold and snowy again. Gotta get a heater for the garage or something. I just wanna drive the turd before the end of the season. Maybe commute in it on nice days. It's all just money, right?

How you doin? Did you ever move down south? Been a long time. The last of that March snow storm is just about gone, but still cold. :/ All I need is brakes and I can get back on the road.

Yep, moved to within sight of the Route 66 dragstrip at the end of 2013. Should probably change my profile on here. Got lots of room to play now, just finished expanding the garden before our last round of snow last week.

This a big plot. I'll stop by for some corn in a few months. :p I'm less than 15 minutes away from you actually, right off the Center/80 exit.
