Ill post some pics when i get deeper into the underhood buildup and cool turbo pipes. The body just came back after having the panels smoothed and put in primer but there is quite a bit of work left to do before its ready for paint. I wanna hear this hybrid engine REV!

Well my imaginary project might have just changed after reading this, literally hits all the key marks. Boost, RPMs, and ls3 heads just for good measure!

Shit its been so hot here for the last 3 weeks i havent been doing any bodywork on it at all. Car is pretty damn straight now and its about time to blow it back apart and get to fabbing some more underhood piping. Ill post pics when i get some cool stuff to show.

Pasco has been hot for almost two months now it seams. It was 112 in the shade at work one of those days. An egg fell from the rafters and was mostly cooked by the end of the day.

So is this gonna be intercooled, or just straight turbo. I'd guess two intercoolers or none?

I was going to intercool it but the pipe routing and mods to the hood structure would have been a bitch so i bagged on the idea. Hope it doesnt hurt power too much. Ill definitely do water/meth and nitrous on it. If i was smart and bought a shorter height radiator i could have ran the pipes underneath and kept stuff out of sight....at the expense of cooling.

Here is the engine compartment right before teardown for paint. When it goes together for real i think its going to be pretty cool!

You've always built awe inspiring rides. This one's no different. Suppose the bird's still sitting around?

Yeah the poor bird is sitting outside and so neglected it almost qualifies as a barn find. LOL. Been thinking about it quite a bit more lately and wonder if the freshly re-ringed and bearing GRENADE shouldnt find its way back underhood for some more fun. With the Comp 67 BB turbos and 96 lb injectors on board this go round the motor may have the firepower to crack the 8 second zone. If it lives. The ol' grenade came back from the machine shop with a clean bill of health and no cracks anywhere. It theoretically COULD make more power and survive.
