They had a lot more races this past episode which was cool. The more I watch those two guys with Dung beetle the more it looks faked. Make its not but it sounds a little scripted or forced. Like who isn't gonna figure something is up when they see a camera crew?

 

Some good racing. I'd like to see them go at it with street tires. That car in the dirt cloud on next week's preview looked red, was it a Mustang? Is that Daddy Dave? I am still learning the names hah. The Sonama is no joke man he's gitting it!

 

Gotcha. WHat did you think about the farm truck parody they did? Thought it was funny as hell if they had a real dog it have been even funnier! I wonder what they will do with the truck they bought, either the show paid for it or they got some sort of plan for it or maybe both.

Yeah that would be funny if they did that on purpose if its not really a crash but just the truck out in the grass flinging dirt around! Those guys look like they are having a blast with the show must be a ton of fun!!!!!! Hey did Azn let the girl beat him on purpose? Didn't seem to launch very fast maybe that was the editing but it wasn't like his other launches.

 

Some "Gangster Chick" as Chief puts it, she crashed her red mustang, trying to get on the list? Also looks like the sonoma got up on the curb. I loved how Dave (sonoma driver) stated that he was worried about putting 3 runs on the truck in one evening. I think he turned it down when he ran the murder nova during the "Cash Days" episode.

 

On YB, Daddy Dave's crew guy said they had the nitrous system jetted kinda wonky that night because of two cylinders down on compression. Trust me, Dave has power he hasn't even used yet.....

 

im sure it makes huge power, but at what expense? I also found it amusing that he was concerned about having 3 runs on it lol. He may be "anti turbo" but you dont see the turbo guys melting down every other week. I do have to admit the damn thing flies tho.

 

I love this show look forward to it every Monday night. Wish they would tell more about the car set up.

 

Next week is the two hour season closer?? Already??

 

Dave has said numerous times, he'll burn it down every pass if that's what it takes to stay #1, I think he's gotten good at replacing pistons,

Yeah its drag racing not road racing where you have to keep it going. All that matters is going from A to B faster!!!!

 

For sure, unless you are actually paying for your parts, or have to go more then a round or 2.... let's be honest, on any given cash days event or KOTS type event he isn't making it past round 2 ....if all you care about is staying on top of a "405 only" list and are spending someone else's money then the Sonoma is clearly the baddest ride on the show.

 

And if it sounds like I'm ragging on DD I'm not lol, I absolutely love watching that little truck pull the tires and fk right off like a rocket....its cool as hell. I just appreciate the turbo cars ability to dial the boost up and run the number without melting down every week.... hell even the Nova looks like its finally got its sht together now that he has switched to the twins.... and that hasn't exactly been the most reliable ride since it came out. Now i wanna see Lutz push these lads into Drag Week and see how fast they really are....

 

Hey, i agree with you.....there isn't anything else like it to watch for gear heads. No pretty paint, no 20" wheels, no 3 day impossible builds. I'm not ashamed to admit I love the show and even watch reruns lol. Strt Otlws and Frieburger's Roadkill are my version of crack lol.

 

I remember reading some place that a producer that works for discovery is a track racer there in the 405 area and started following there list and liked how much there was to it and all the drama that goes along with it. Then Started looking in to other areas top 10 list and other street racers and realized how much faster they where then most junk on the street.

 

Yes I really like the show also I wish it was that easy to pull out on the highway and race a safe race on the street.I have watched some California street racing and man those guys are next to the lines of the road LOL. It's really crazy how Derek cuts there sleeves off too!
