Here's the video. I'm currently trying to edit it for length. If you listen closely, you can here the cut out after launch, then again in second.

Sounded like spark blow out. Was the tach jumping when it would cut out?

I didn't think to look. I've got the plugs gapped to .025". I'm using NGK's that are 2 steps colder I think, BKR6E-11. Could that be an issue? The plugs have about 50 miles on them and numerous call starts and idles which were rich to the point of 11-12:1 per the AFR gauge. I found a burn wire, but replaced it. Still performed the same.

I have it set to 215kPa. The log registered 207kPa in all runs but never enough to trip it. In one run I turned of all limiters just to eliminate that area. Same results. I have another set of wires on my 66 that I'll try to rule out the wires.

How much fuel was in the car? We're you able to log fuel pressure?

Kinda sounds like a cough, were you able to hear almost like a sneezing or coughing sound inside the car? What were the a/f?

How do you like megasquirt, I think I'm going to get rid of my old e.p.e.c system and buy ms2. Right now my car runs and idles like a champ on e85,but I want to get rid of the mass air and having an idle air controler would be nice too.

I made sure it had at least 3/4 tank before I started. I've heard of these pickups sucking air at a 1/4 tank.

It sounds like I'm hitting a rev limiter, even in the car. Sounds like its studdering. The a/f is 11.8 - 12.1 at that boost level.

80mm - The Megasquirt has had its querks, but most of those were user errors. The best thing I did was go SD. Mass air was a huge PITA.

Found the issue. It was a bad connection inside the adapter that plugs into the coil. Found out that it revs to 7k pretty quick when you're not paying attention.

Thanks Brian. I'm just glad I found it before I got stupid and started throwing money at it.

Sorry for the delay. The car runs and functions really well. The body appears to have light hail damage in spots, but you have to be right up on it in order to see it. The driver side door needs some help. The lower hinge is in bad shape. Other than that, its a solid, straight car. I paid $750 for it. I might start breaking it down this weekend.

I've picked up several interior parts for it so I can get rid of the baby blue junk. The difficult part is going to be storing all these parts until I can get 'em in the car.

Took a few pics of the coupe today. Definitely needs some work, but that's expected for the price. Still a pretty good place to start.

The guy I bought from had a tire blow out on him recently.

Here's a pic of the hail damage on the deck lid. There is some on the top and hood as well. This is by far the worst.
