Boss 302 block vs dart block??

    I have a 347 185afrs with a 76mm turbo. I want more power but i have a stock block what block should i use without changing alot.

    351 he has to change everything.
    Go with Dart. Longer cylinders

    X2 dart. Boss blocks are built nice but then killed with crazy short cylinders.

    x3 Dart block all the way - Woody from ford strokers has a nice thread in the sbf tech section of the corral showing just how short the cylinders are and what risk you run with any stroker set up in them....

    Shop around - I got my Dart 9.5W SHP block brand new for $1563.00 no shipping and no tax....

    woody from fordstrokers talked me out of the ford block to the dart shp block in my 363. He built me an awesome long block.[​IMG]#ad

    sorry to bust in but whats a good rate on the 8.2 dart block? I bettter start saving!


    edit- I see there is the Dart SHP, Dart Iron Eagle, and Dart Sportsman, now when everyone is saying to get a dart block, is there one thats most commnonly used? ay yay yayyay yay

    Depends on power level. If you are in the 600-900HP, I'd run the SHP (underrated @ 600HP). 900-1400HP Dart Sportsman, and anything over 1400HP IMO should run the Iron Eagle Race block. Are you reusing the rotating assembly, or upgrading this as well?
